Esprit de Merci Customized Workshops are designed around teams and are especially powerful in times of transition or in response to external forces of change. Examples might include integration, organizational restructure, adoption of new processes or product development.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM AN ESPRIT DE MERCI WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE?

Our workshop agendas typically include allocations for reflection and review of past experience, discussion and exploration of current state, and co-creation of future strategic initiatives in alignment with the evolving needs of your organization. The following are just a few of the benefits you and your team might experience as a result of participation:

  • Further connectivity within the team including a shared understanding of roles and responsibilities

  • Greater appreciation of hidden diversity; ability to leverage unique individual talents and strengths as a team

  • Shared commitment to organizational purpose, vision, strategy, and priorities, including changes need to achieve

  • Exploration of individual and organizational change dynamics

  • Awareness and connection with shared culture and organizational identity, including ideology and practice

  • Understanding and practice with techniques to support innovation, growth, and evolution

  • Co-creation of strategic initiatives

  • Ability to develop, initiate, and amend action plans as needed to achieve these initiatives

HOW are my objectives supported and represented in the agenda?

Each workshop is a customized experience for our participants. We work closely with you through all aspects including discovery, design, development, delivery, and debrief.

  • Planning discussions to ensure alignment with organizational priorities

  • Review of relevant organizational and departmental strategy documents

  • Review and incorporation of individual assessment results for team members (e.g., CliftonStrengths™, MBTI®, DiSC®, ELI™, etc.)

  • Preparation of agenda and associated presentation and facilitation materials

  • Facilitation of workshop

  • Coordinating and collecting feedback from participants

  • Synthesis of meeting insights and co-created materials into a final workbook

  • Participation in a debrief session to review outcomes and recommendations for next steps

WHAT ELSE CAN BE CONSIDERED TO CUSTOMIZE THE EXPERIENCE?

In addition to aligning with your identified objectives, design considerations include the following criteria:

  • Size. A full group is generally 8-12 participants, and agendas often allow for breakout group and/or individual activity. Larger groups can be accommodated; we may recommend a combination or series of activities in order to maximize the value of the experience.

  • Learning and Processing Styles. Multiple approaches are incorporated, including, audio, visual, and kinesthetic components.

  • Duration. Workshops can be organized as a continuous or staggered series of 2-hour, half-day, or multi-day sessions that allow for a balance or working sessions with personal breaks, reflection and practice, and informal interaction.

  • Facilitation. Combining internally and/or externally led sessions to support commitment and enable participation

  • Mode of Delivery. Workshops can be held in-person, virtually, or a combination.

  • Pre- or Post-work. Independent exercises, focus groups, surveys, and follow-up sessions may be incorporated as a compliment to workshop content.
